Knows Eyewear - Glasses Design
Knows Eyewear is a startup glasses company focused on finding everyone's perfect fit. Knows works with empathic design to create glasses that are easily customizable to fit any face. In this studio we work closely with Knows to innovate new ways to ensure the perfect fit of glasses for everyone.
Come take a ‘look’:
The Lola frames are made of a bio-based recyclable material. They are equipped with Knows adjustable temples and interchangeable nose pads to fit every face. The large circular lenses sit at the perfect center of the eyes to give a symmetrical look to the face. This design also gives a more fashion forward yet everyday look.
I also created the Lola Lollapolooza Edit, a new color-way designed to standout at the very popular music festival while also still having many of the standard Knows glasses features. The black frame has a pink and gold sparkles with pink scratch-resistant lenses and rose gold hardware.
During the creative process I created many different prototypes and sketches of different functional glasses that co-inside with the Knows mission of functional fit and wear before ultimately finalizing the Lola design. I used digital sketching to create many different designs, then used foam-core, wire, and eventually 3D printing to create prototypes of the glasses.
